Today's Renunciations

Eleanor Antin’s comparative price/value table immediately made one of us think about the disagreement with our sister on whether her daily treat to an Iced Caramel Latte was worth the price of 7 Swiss Francs (student price). She insisted that she gets great joy out of it and would rather buy less of something else (like new clothing, which she also adores). So the value of money varies and changes not only over time and with dynamic exchange rates but also from one human being to another.
