Jewish Cemetery Plaque

We chose this object because it was unique and looked important. Story: The cemetery was going to be dismantled by the National socialists and the last Jewish man in Hohenems risked his like to grab the plaque so it would be remembered.

It was destroyed by the Nazi regime during the war. It was a plaque at the gate of the Jewish cemetery in Hohenems. The Jewish community restored the plaque where it sits today.
